Probably one of the most widely distributed photos of Portland as viewed from the International Rose Test Garden.
My favorite news sites include the following for Portland news:
The Biggies

Hell, the NYT is ridiculously Portland-centric.

The Oregonian has gone downhill, I think, but I am quite the fan of their "inPortland" section that comes out every Thursday in the print edition.

Jeff Mapes, the recently acclaimed writer of Pedaling Revolution has some good insights on politics, many of which affect Portland.
The Weeklies

One of my favorite sources for Portland news. It's probably the most mainstream of the weeklies. I especially like the sustainability section.

The Willamette Week is a really good source for arts and culture. Their news coverage is pretty good as well, however it is borderline sensational at times.

I like the Mercury, but I think a lot of it is really arts and culture heavy, not so much news. The articles they do write though, are great!
